About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Renovations Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or architecture, is proactive, enjoys being at site, and genuinely wants to make a positive impact on our community. You’ll be responsible for helping us ensure renovations are carried out as specified and you’ll have the opportunity to witness the transformation of houses from purchase to sale, gaining invaluable experiences in upcycling real estate and construction.
The successful candidate will join an energetic, multi-faceted team where everyone gets their hands dirty and is unashamedly authentic. Requirements
What You Will Work On
1. You'll be our eyes and ears on our renovation sites
⦁ Visit sites to monitor progress and flag anything off-spec.
⦁ Keep clear records: photos and notes from site visits, schedule of defects, etc.
⦁ Escalate site problems and solve them with the project manager.
2. Permits to Keep Us Compliant
⦁ Prepare and follow up on minor permit applications.
⦁ Assist in preparing detailed drawings ahead of the design process.
3. Real Houses, Real Defects
⦁ Compile the Schedule of Defects
⦁ Coordinate defects rectification across multiple parties
⦁ Verify and record rectification before handing over keys
4. Being Part of a Team
⦁ Assist the Renovations Project Manager as needed.
⦁ Attend customer-facing events and showcase our upcycled homes.
⦁ Automate your repetitive tasks with guidance from team members.
