About the Role

UrbanWave is a home co-ownership programme for us to help people who are interested in upcycling homes in older neighborhoods. We offer to purchase homes in co-ownership with homebuyers, taking a minority stake and providing the upfront cash needed to upcycle the house.

We are seeking a passionate and driven UrbanWave Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the real estate industry, a genuine interest in sustainability and urban planning and a knack for building relationships. You’ll be responsible for promoting our unique home co-ownership program, guiding customers through the home buying process.

The successful candidate will join an energetic, multi-faceted team where everyone gets their hands dirty and is unashamedly authentic. The UrbanWave team is highly collaborative and motivated by growth and constant improvement. The successful candidate would enjoy exploring new opportunities and the exciting pace of a values-based startup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their pain points throughout the homebuying process.
• Educate customers about the benefits of our home co-ownership program, emphasizing the principles of sustainability, home upcycling, urban regeneration and community revitalization.
• Guide customers through the homebuying process end-to-end, from finding a house to obtaining the land title, ensuring a seamless homebuying process.
• Promote our home co-ownership program to potential customers through various mediums including cold-calling/testing, webinars, virtual calls and physical booths while qualifying leads.
• Provide regular sales reports detailing progress toward targets and upcoming opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for quality lead generation.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategies and operations processes to optimize the customer journey.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.


Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Experience within the architecture and/or real estate industry.
• Passion for sustainability and urban planning stewardship with a genuine interest in promoting sustainable housing solutions.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of real estate regulations and market dynamics is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
